Concept
Location: Seattle WA
Born and raised in Seattle with a passion for live music, Nomah’s owner is looking to convert an old warehouse in the city’s Belltown district into a music venue. He would like for the venue to be a hub that fosters both
culture and community as well as honor and carry on Seattle's musical legacy.
When it comes to the overall functional design of the space, it is important to him that the venue provides the proper facilities for both staff and musicians. This will be accomplished by utilizing
hospitality-esque features such as coffee bars, kitchenettes, laundry and bathrooms. The venue should be easy to navigate to ensure a good experience.
Aesthetically, the venue will have a grungy, seedy, industrial, yet modern vibe that pays homage to the building's past life. It is also to the owner that it honors the cities musical past.

Aesthetic Goals
Front-of-house spaces will feel moody and mysterious setting to build anticipation for the show.
Green rooms will provide a relaxing pre-show retreat for artists
through the use of hospitality-esque finishes.
The design of the preformance space will reflect the “seedy” image
of the small venues musicans get their start with a modern twist.
Venue employees will have comfortable well lit offices with access
to natural daylight.
Lighting will be used to create modern contrast in an otherwise worn
industrial space.
